How to save 30 to 40 % electrical energy
Solar Water heater
M/S PMM Smart Future solution – Ranipet – Supplying solar water heater Brand of Hi-Tech and Supreme make Quality product supplies our Aim
00) Why you need to install solar water heater?
In every home consumes ~ 30% electrical energy for heating purpose, this can be saved by using Solar water heater.
01) What is solar water heater?
A solar water heater is a device that captures sunlight to heat water. It can be an economical way to generate hot water for your family (for shower and bath). A solar heater not only enables substantial energy savings as solar power is free in non renewable energy of natural gas, wood, fuel oil etc.
02) How it works?
The sun's thermal energy heats the fluid in the solar collectors. Then, this fluid passes through a heat exchanger in the storage tank, transferring the heat to the water. The non-freezing fluid then cycles back to the collectors. ... Direct systems circulate water through solar collectors where it is heated by the sun.
03)How many type of solar water heater available in Market?
PMM Smart Future solution – Ranipet – Supplying 2 types of solar water heater
a)
Evacuated tube collector (ETC)
b) Flat plate collector (FPC)
b) ETC Solar Water Heater
b) PFC Solar Water Heater![]() |

04) How to select the solar water Heater?
The thump rule
is 25 Litre per person, If 4 people is available in home should select 100 LPD
(Litre Per Day) and need to take consideration water loss will be 10 to 20% the
hot water tank to tap based on the distance loss shall be calculated.

The
collector glass tube absorbers (being cylindrical the incident) absorbs the
sun’s rays on the tubes is at 90 degrees throughout the day. Hence peak heat
absorption as always |
The
collector fins & tubes (being flat the incident) absorbs sun’s rays is at
90 degrees at noon only for peak absorption |
|
19 |
System hot
water tank only is insulated using polyurethane insulation material, which
does not absorb water or moisture |
Collector

wet during monsoons reducing the efficiency of the system |
a) Evacuated tube
b) Water tank
c) Stand
07) What is Evacuated tube?
Evacuated tube solar collectors convert energy from the sun. They have a vacuum between two glass layers and work similar to a thermos flask allowing it to retain up to 95% of the solar energy they capture!
08) What is solar water tank?
The solar water tank contain two tank inside tank which is made
Stainless steel or Mild steel tank and then heat exchanger which is work as
insulator to avoid the heat loss and outer side tank which is made of Stainless
steel or Mild steel , the Mild steel coated with power coating.
09) Solar water heater is ETC and PFC is coming in two type based on the application
a) Solar water heater
non pressure system , which is used for normal water where the water flows on
gravity, the water flow less the 1.0 Kg/Cm2 pressure maximum
b) Another one is Solar
water heater pressure system , which is used for pressurised water where the water pressure pump installed
or more pressure in the water flow, the water flow pressure found 2.0 Kg/CMm2
to Maximum 7.0 Kg/Cm2 pressure maximum.
